This is your best option if you're craving "Mexican" style tacos and don't feel like making them or going out to a sit down restaurant. I came for the food, specifically the tacos. They come standard, (onions & cilantro), and your choice of meat. The meat is seasoned well, I only wish there was more. If you get asada, see if you can add on extra meat. You won't be disappointed. The lady working was very sweet and friendly. They have a spicy sauce which tastes habeñero based but I could be wrong. Anyway, great place, highly recommend.

This place is similar to their other location in Orange Park. The made-to-order food is amazing, and they've got a buffet option if that's more your thing. Service is kind, but they seem to be a little short-staffed leading to longer than expected times between ordering food and receiving it. I think the young employee was running the store, taking orders, and cooking too. Aside from the small indoor seating area, the rest is taken up by a small grocery. I'd love to see more options available there in the near future, but for now, most of the space is bare.

Love this place! New residents to the area & having grown up in Los Angeles, it's been slim pickings in terms of good, truly authentic Mexican/Latin food from "back home." We had resigned that we probably would never find that gem bc Florida is not SoCal after all. However, we finally found it here at La Sabrosa! After speaking with one of the employees there, they are from East Los Angeles which explains why the food is SO GOOD here. It's a casual eatery located inside a small grocery store. We ordered queso & chicharron papusas, beef empanadas, nachos, & carne asada burrito that you can hold. Took home some concha bread too. Looking forward to trying out more dishes when we return. Huge thank you to La Sabrosa for providing that taste of home I've been missing so badly!!
